I want things to turn out right

Been running around like crazy

And the weird hazy weather

Makes my eyes tears,

my throat sore

and my skin dry

Time flies at the speed of a bullet train

I am currently in a daze

Walking around with

too many thoughts running

through my mind every second

New faces appeared for the past few days

Some old ones too

Waiting for the day when

they will be going on stage to

receive the award for their achievements

Mine is still a long, long wait to come

Sitting on the benches outside the Main Library

watching the world goes by

People walking past by

Some were walking slowly,

some were running,

and some were half-running, half-walking

And just for a moment,

the sunlight broke through the puffy white clouds

streaming onto the tiled floors,

gleaming under the bright lights

And just for a moment,

I closed my eyes and

see the world in a different way
