Things that I have done for the past weeks
- have a blasting holiday at Sitiawan (thank you so much to SJ and her family’s warm hospitality)
- ate the famous Sitiawan’s Foochow’s special dishes: red wine noodles, “kong” biscuits, kaya puffs…
- went to Lumut, visited the famous Lumut Waterfront and ate the delicious and cheap ABC
- went Go Kart-ing for the first time *loved it…now where can I find something similar in Penang??*
- went to Prangin Mall *have not been there for ages*
- watched the mega-blockbuster Chinese movie, Red Cliff (based on the story of the 3 Kingdoms)
- drool over the fantastic battle scenes
- first time broke something in a store *blush*
- took the Rapid Penang to Bukit Bendera and Ayer Hitam
- ate the so-called-famous Penang Laksa near Kek Lok Si temple/Bukit Bendera
- changed so many Rapid Penang buses along the way
- renewed my IC (supposed to do it when I was 18 but guess I missed the dateline)
- extended my passport to another 5 years (paid RM150 instead of the usual RM300 ^__^)
- attended the CMM221 lab session *loved the i-Macs~!! and the internet speed~!!* (^___^)
- finally went to the Japanese Embassy in Kuala Lumpur to make my Visa
- first time visiting the Japanese Embassy *impressed by the tight security*
- first time taking only-6-people-in-the-5.30pm-bus from Penang to KL
Things that I am doing now
- lazing around at home *true to the words home sweet home*
- watching Animax!! and NHK and KBS World and for the first time in 1 month, the TV3’s 8pm news
- play with my doggies *missed them so much*
- for the first time I had a good night sleep in my own bed *comfy~*
- had a family reunion dinner at my favourite restaurant
- planning to clean up my room/house tomorrow
Things that I will have to do
- miss all my Wednesday and Thursday classes
- miss the BATI Interaction Night on Wednesday
- take an early morning bus from Melaka to KL
- travel to the Japanese Embassy by LRT
- take my Visa
- have only 1 hour to rush back to the bus station to catch the afternoon bus to Penang
- clean up my hostel room once I am back
- attend the Dean List’s Award Ceremony on Friday morning
- attend my Japanese Class
- go to the International Office to show them the Visa and get the form to drop all my courses
- make appointments with each and every one of my lecturers for their signatures
- go to the Humanities Office to drop the courses
- send a copy of the form to the International Office
- go to the Treasury to settle my school fees
- confirm my flight and get the ticket
- pack my belongings
- ready for departure
phew~ what a list! I hope I am still alive at the end of this…anyway I won’t be updating my blog for sometime after this as I will be a very, very busy bee buzzing around my campus then….till next time~
